Could this be the biggest meeting of the year for York-raceway not only do we have the UK largest all American car racing field pushing for over 32 cars, air-cooled, HR challenge, pro and sportsman but on Saturday we also have NSCC round 6 American power tour 23 annual ford shoot out, Old Skool Ford practising but we have the first ever Ladies Race this is no way intended to put regular racing in their own class but much more to encourage the long and suffering girlfriends, wives even daughters who have been dragged to the drag strip to have a go in there husbands, boyfriends or dads cars in this once a year race class to ensure it can be as safe as possible it will be a bracket system and three round qualifying which will observed by-runs, then they will be paired up against each other in the knock out stages.
Then on Sunday We have American Super Stock round 4 Northern Drag Racing round 3 old skool ford round 4 HR Challenge round 3 air-cooled round 4 NSCC Round 7 but also a Subaru impretza vs. mitsubushi evo shootout having themselves nearly 45 cars
